August was the worst month this account has had, down about twelve percent from the June high. Most of it was Bitcoin, some of it was me holding a leveraged position through a weekend I should not have.
Today I moved another 50,000 in from savings. That deposit is on the chart, and it is why the value jumps here while the return does not. I want that to be visible, because the temptation with a public record is to let a deposit look like a recovery.
The plan from here is dull on purpose: the same five names, no leverage, and a rule that I do not add to anything on a day it is down more than five percent.
